Dress to impress – Your interview dress code guide
You only get one chance to make a first impression. It’s important to understand that a key element of a successful job interview is knowing how to dress appropriately. Your interviewer will remember you if they see you dressed professionally and confidently.
To help you make a great first impression, the JT Academy has prepared this dress code guide.
1. Be as clean as possible
Dressing to impress involves a focus on both your clothes and your hygiene. Before your interview, you should make sure you are clean and well presented. Make sure that you also look neat and professional. This will show you to be a strong and reliable job candidate.2. Dress based on the company culture
When deciding what to wear for your interview, take the time to research and understand the company’s culture. By understanding the company’s culture, you can demonstrate that you would be a good fit for the company. For example, wear formal attire if it’s a professional environment. If it’s a more casual environment, still choose a business casual outfit, so that you don’t look underdressed in the interview.3. Wear something that makes you feel confident!
At the JT Academy, we always say: “look confident, feel confident!” Make sure you are comfortable in your interview clothes. This will help relax you more - and bring out your confidence!Recommended Resourse
